I lived in Montreal, Canada, for 6 years. A great city, by the way. Maybe not specially appealing to the tourist eye, but the nicest and coolest city to live in, in Canada. 
One of the yearly highlights for me was the summer festival 'Juste pour rire' aka 'Just for laughs'. Open air theatre, free performances, buskers galore!!!
Often they also show the famous 'Just for laughs' gags in an open air cinema. Hidden camera pranks and gags. Some are more funny then others, but usually good for a lot of fun.
