It's summertime.
The time of the year that many people go camping.
Most of them stay in a caravan, a tent or a mobile home.
The new 'term of the year' seems to be Glamping; glamourous camping. Sounded promising, but my first searchresults did not come up with anything enough glam or difference to seduce me.
Basically camping is just not for me; I did my fair share of camping 'back then', but it really is NOT my cup of tea.
Having said that, there are forms of camping, tents, caravans and mobile homes that could even persuade a serious anti-camper like me;-)
Here are some of them:
Sisters on the Fly started a website and business in the US with pimped trailers. They paint cowgirls, horses , cactae and what not on vintage caravans and sell them.

| No, no matter how beautiful this caravan is, I would never consider pulling it with my bike...hahaha... |
Since I first learned about Yurts (Mongolian tents) I fell in love with them and with their possibilities in size and (seasonal) use:
Since the TVseries Pipo on the Dutch TV, I (and the rest of the netherlands with me;-)) fell in love with gypsy-caravans. In Holland we call them Pipo-woonwagens, in France they call them roulottes.

Does this mean you are likely to see me camping anywhere soon now? No, dont think so;-). But later, I will realise my dream of a large piece of land in Spain. And then I will have -next to my stone house- all of the above scattered around on my grounds. Camping@home; MY cup of tea.

Ik wil in de Pipo de Clown met Nononono ervoor!
